By creating an account or using BassIQ in any way, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BassIQ is an AI-powered bass fishing recommendation tool. The Service provides real-time fishing conditions, bait recommendations, location suggestions, fishing forecasts, and related content based on publicly available weather, water, and environmental data.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Subscription and Payment

BassIQ offers a free tier and a paid Premium subscription at $9.99 per month. By subscribing to Premium:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable advance notice.

5. Fishing Advice Disclaimer

BassIQ provides fishing recommendations for informational and entertainment purposes only. Recommendations are generated by AI based on available conditions data and are not guarantees of fishing success. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any recommendations for a particular purpose.

You are solely responsible for your own safety while fishing, including compliance with all applicable fishing licenses, regulations, and laws in your jurisdiction. BassIQ is not liable for any catch results, fishing conditions encountered, or decisions made based on our recommendations.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service to infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
• Share your account credentials with others.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and software comprising the Service is owned by BassIQ or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.

By submitting any content to the Service (such as saved lake names), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content to operate and improve the Service.

8. Third-Party Data

The Service uses data from third-party sources including weather providers, USGS water monitoring services, and fishing report aggregators. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data and make no warranties regarding it.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BassIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
